Good Afternoon, This week puts Greenville on the map with a Michelin star restaurant and several runner ups. There’s plenty of reasons to get out and explore. Whether you’re in the mood for live tunes, a little dinner drama, or your daily happy hour deal, we’ve got your weekend lineup covered.

RESTAURANT SCENE

Price range: $37 +

Greenville’s own Scoundrel just earned a Michelin star — a first for the city. If you’ve ever wanted to see what all the Michelin buzz is about, now’s your chance to grab a reservation and taste some of this French cuisine.

Some of the recommended dishes include steak frites, tomahawk ribeye, scallops, and for dessert, crème brûlée.

While Scoundrel was awarded a Michelin star, these Greenville area restaurants received “ recommended” in the Michelin Guide American South:

Weekly Wins

Just an FYI, we don't make money from these deals - we just love sharing good finds with our community.

Happy Hour @ Matador

Happy hour at The Matador happens every single day, which is pretty cool since you can even go on the weekend. Grab tacos, nachos, a salad, prawns, and more for just $6-$7. Your wallet will thank you, and your taste buds will be doing a happy dance. Note: Even though the link shows Charlotte's happy hour menu, Greenville gets the same deals.

P.S. I was told that margaritas are included in their happy hour by the host, but don’t quote me on that.

Where: Matador - Happy Hour Menu
When: Everyday | 4 PM - 6 PM & 10 PM - Close

Recipe of the Week

Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

These pumpkin cinnamon rolls are pure cozy comfort. The dough has real pumpkin mixed in, making every bite extra soft and tender. Inside is a sweet cinnamon–pumpkin spice filling that turns warm and gooey as they bake. I love how incredible they smell coming out of the oven—your kitchen will feel like fall. They’re perfect for lazy weekend mornings at home. If you make them, don’t forget to invite me! Check out the recipe

NEARBY ADVENTURES

Table Rock Team Company

Tucked away in the Pickens County foothills, Table Rock Tea Company is a rare find — a family-run farm growing and producing real American tea right on site. Owners Steve and Jennifer Lorch began their journey in 2014, and today they’re among only a handful of commercial tea growers in the country.

Take a free, hour-long tour (Thursday through Sunday) to see how tea is cultivated, processed, and poured — then stop by the shop to pick up some locally grown blends to take home. It’s a very interesting experience, especially to taste tea harvested right here in SC. Less than a one-hour drive. Find out more
