RESTAURANT SCENE

Coral Greenville

Price range: $22-$54

If you’re looking for an elevated seafood dinner with energy, Coral delivers. Located in Greenville’s West End, this highly rated seafood restaurant and bar is known for its vibrant atmosphere, polished service, and a bar that’s often just as busy as the dining room. Reservations are recommended, but grabbing a seat at the bar is part of the experience. Coral leans a bit on the pricey side; however, the bar menu offers some great, more affordable options.

Here’s what people keep coming back for:

  • Chilean Sea Bass – Soy-glazed with sautéed baby bok choy, red peppers, basmati rice, miso butter sauce, and crispy sweet potato ribbons

  • Lobster rolls – a bar menu staple featuring fresh lobster with just the right amount of dressing.

  • Fish and chips – Buttermilk fried cod with duck fat fries and lemon dill aioli

  • Black & Blue Mule – Tequila mixed with blackberry-blueberry and lime puree, topped with ginger beer

  • Extensive wine list – Perfect for celebrations or a relaxed night out

Whether it’s a date night, a special occasion, or an impromptu evening in the West End, Coral is an easy choice for seafood, cocktails, and a lively downtown vibe.

COMMUNITY CORNER

Local Business

A major new chapter is about to begin for Greenville. Bolden Street District is set to break ground this summer, and it’s one of the most ambitious developments the city has seen in years.

Spanning 90 acres, the project will bring approximately 2,500 residences and 750,000 square feet of retail, dining, and local-focused shopping to the area. At the heart of it all will be Bolden Square—a central public plaza designed as a true gathering place, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and spaces meant to bring people together.

What makes Bolden Street District especially compelling is how it blends urban energy with the outdoors. The neighborhood is being intentionally interwoven with green space and will connect directly to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, making it easy to move between nature, neighborhoods, and the city.

With construction starting this summer, the momentum around Greenville’s growth continues to build. Bolden Street District is poised to have a lasting impact—not just for future residents, but for Greenville as a whole.
