Good afternoon, Greenville!
Today I learned that South Carolina produces nearly three times the amount of peaches compared to the so-called Peach State, Georgia. Who knew?
This weekend has a bit of everything: waffles, live music, arts, and a big sports event.
Let's get into it.

NEARBY ADVENTURES
Cleared for Takeoff: A Visit to Charlotte’s Aviation Museum
About 90 minutes from Greenville, the Sullenberger Aviation Museum in Charlotte is worth the drive if you've ever looked up at a plane and thought, "how does that thing even work?"
With 40+ aircraft — military jets, helicopters, and historic commercial planes — plus hands-on exhibits explaining how aviation shaped the world, there's a lot to take in. The star of the show? The actual Airbus A320 from the 2009 Miracle on the Hudson, the one Captain "Sully" Sullenberger landed on the river after a bird strike took out both engines.
Beyond the planes, you can hop into flight simulators, explore interactive displays, and dig into North Carolina's surprisingly deep aviation roots.
Great for families, aviation nerds, and the casually curious alike.
